Smiles, Quotes & Links #2

Happy Friday!! Welcome to my list of all the things that are inspiring me this week! Clearly, exclamation points make the list. Woo to the exclamation point hoo!

My #inspiremefriday contribution this week is the above. It’s a reminder to myself to find more moments for laughing with friends. Hopefully this weekend. Shout-out to the #inspiremefriday gals: Eileen, Alicia and Jenn!

What do you have planned for the weekend? I’m planning to spend some time writing out my blogging goals for 2014. I’m also going to the movies and reading LOTS of magazines and books!

Link love for the week:

1. What’s an entrepreneur?

2. Katie posted this awesome link to her dipped nightstands in my bedding blog. I have to shout it out because now I want those night stands.

3. My favorite twitter hashtag of the week.

4. Now this is what I call a Barbie dream house! My favorite part is the pink acrylic chair. What’s yours?

5. On how to ask better questions.

And you? What made you smile this week? What links were you loving? I didn’t read as many blogs this week because I was in Mexico, but I’m back now and eager to catch up on what I missed!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Until next time!

xoxo,
Stacey

  1. I want that dollhouse! I would have loved that as a child!

    Happy Friday!

  2. OMG! I feel so jealous when I saw this perfect dollhouse!!! I have never ever seen such a cool, classy and good-looking dollhouse as this one. EVER. I envy her little daughter. 😉 Haha! Well, one side of me says: “too bad I don’t have any girls playing around in our home, because then I would have a good excuse to create such an extremely cute dollhouse as this one”, but on the other hand one part of me was also saying: “pheeewww… soooo glad I’m having two boys, that would have been too hard to recreate for my daughter”. LOL! Anyway, loving that link, thanks for sharing! It made me smile too. :-) And it made me think of my own childhood where I constantly played with my Barbie dolls – where’s the time??? It flew away in an instant. 😉
Hugs and a great weekend to you Stacey!! Love, Inge x

    • Hi Inge,

I grew up playing with Barbie’s too! And I fell in love with that dollhouse and instantly wanted to recreate it, too!

Hope you also have a wonderful weekend! Big hugs!

      xoxo

  3. I am repeatedly inspired by your commitment to your blog, Stacey. I struggled this past fall with giving my own blog attention, but you are with it. I am impressed. Blogging goals. How cool! What have been some of your past blogging goals and how many years have you been blogging?

    • Hi Laura!

Don’t be fooled! I barely got a post up in November or December. I came back strong for January and so far into February. But… I don’t have a post planned for Wednesday and if my writer’s block doesn’t let up soon…

I never got around to the blogging goals, but I hope to soon.

I started blogging on February 24, 2013. Almost my one year anniversary! I used to want to monetize my blog, but lately, I’ve been pretty happy just having it as a place for my musings (though covering the costs of this hobby wouldn’t be terrible, either). I think my newest or next goal will be to grow my readership. What about you? How long have you been blogging? And what are your goals?
